“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dream.†The dreams of 20 young nurses were realized when the hats were off on 7th April 2018 when they finally completed their 3 year long GNM course and graduated with flying colours. All these nightingales have undergone continuous training both in theory and practical and put their best effort to become quality nurses. Chief Guest of the program was Rev. Fr. Marianus Kujur SJ, the Provincial superior of Ranchi Jesuit Province and the Guest of honor was Sr. Juliana MMS, the former Administrator of Holy Family Hospital , Mandar. Fr. Marianus officiated the Holy Eucharist. The ceremony started with traditional lamp lighting followed by ‘Oath taking ceremony†in which all of the graduates took oath to commit themselves totally to patients’ care. Certificates were distributed to the nurses by the Chief Guest. The chief guest in his message thereafter said that the nursing care needs to be overshadowed with human values, such as love, care, affection and empathy. The ceremony became colorful with cultural events and fusion dances by the junior nursing students.
