Sports and Games are essential for many reasons. They not only help us to maintain good health but also foster friendship, discipline and good behaviour. Constant Lievens School of Nursing organised “Lievens Sportsutsav†on 16th and 17th of November 2017. Bishop Telesphore Bilung, Auxiliary Bishop of Ranchi Archdiocese was the Chief Guest for the ceremony. He inaugurated the event and declared the Sportutsav open followed by a pledge-taking ceremony by the Captains and team members. A number of field and track events, and selected games were part of the Lievens Sportsutsav. Students participated enthusiastically in all these events which were a welcome break from their busy schedules. The “Lievens Sportsutsav†had a grand completion with distribution of prizes to the best performing teams and individuals.
